Raft of the Medusa 

New shapes, same content  2017 - 2019

The project draws an analogy between the refugees drowning at sea and the sailors sent to their deaths in Gericault's painting. Dozen of drawings, digital paintings, sewn paintings and prints confront us with various aspects of the tragedy, then and now.
